Job summary

MAC.BID in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Scanner Associate to join the on-site Scan Team. You will use proprietary software to scan items and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy, supporting the listing process.

This full-time hourly, non-exempt position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, opportunities to grow with the company, and benefits after the introductory period.

Qualifications

• On-site availability and 8:00am-4:30pm Monday–Friday schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, 50 lbs with team lift.
• Ability to stand and walk for hours.
• Tech-savvy with ability to operate scanning software.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan items into the system to create online auction listings.
• Search products online.
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings.
• Correct and complete information for each item.
• Meet quantity and quality goals.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.

SCANNER ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The S can T eam uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete information for each item
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
