Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring a Scanner Associate in Hamilton, OH to operate our scanning software and upload product details to the online auction portal.

The role requires scanning items, researching products online, cropping photos for listings, and ensuring accurate, complete information while meeting quality targets. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, on-site; ability to lift up to 25 lb solo and 50 lb with a team.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be tech-savvy.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

SCANNER ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The S can T eam uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete information for each item
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Other tasks as assigned by management
