Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking an on-site Big Box Removal Team member to help customers locate their auctioned items and ensure a positive bidding experience. You will assist with item searches and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction as part of a collaborative removal team.

The role requires availability Monday through Friday with specific shifted hours, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds solo or 50 pounds with assistance, and a strong focus on organization and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday; Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri 10:00–18:30 & Tue/Thu 12:00–20:30, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must be customer-focused

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Removal Team assists customers with finding their items. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. The Big Box Team deals with larger, heavier items. This position reports to the Big Box Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized
• Assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday; Required Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 10 AM - 6:30 PM & Tuesday/Thursday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM , 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds or more with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
