Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Full-Time Big Box Removal Associate to aid customers in locating items and assist bidders during online auctions. The team handles large, heavy items and provides exemplary service, reporting to the Big Box Removal Team Lead.

Shifts are on-site Monday through Friday with varied start times. Applicants must lift up to 25 lb solo or 50 lb with a team; a High School Diploma is preferred. MAC.BID is an equal-opportunity employer.

BIG BOX REMOVAL ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Removal Team assists customers with finding their items. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. The Big Box Team deals with larger, heavier items. This position reports to the Big Box Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized
• Assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday; Required Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 10 AM - 6:30 PM & Tuesday/Thursday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM , 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds or more with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
