Job summary

VIAVI Solutions is seeking a proactive Contract Analyst to support Commercial and Contract Management for the Government, Aerospace, and Defense unit. The role ensures smooth administrative operations, timely customer information responses, and coordination of bid activities.

The ideal candidate will manage contractual documents, verify compliance with company policies and government specifications, and assist with bid submissions under the direction of the GAD Contract Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong research and analytical skills to gather relevant information and data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR procurement regulations and norms
• Understanding of US Government and US Department of War procurement expectations.
• Experience with CRM or bid management tools is advantageous.
• Fluency in writing and reading English, other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide accurate responses to customer inquiries including ESG and cyber security information requests.
• Maintain customer and government portals, ensuring documentation remains current and deadlines are met.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather and validate required data.
• Manage the customer information request portal, log, track, and respond to requests promptly.
• Generate regular portal reports to monitor volumes, response times, and recurring topics.
• Assist in preparing presentations and summaries for internal reviews and bid submissions.
• Maintain and update bid documentation libraries and templates.
• Track bid timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Composes contractual correspondence and maintains files for government solicitations and awards.
• Interface with government customers and agencies regarding solicitation and contract status.
• Prepare and submit WAWF documentation and assist with invoicing as required.
