LifeWise Academy is seeking dependable substitute teachers who are active church participants and can deliver LifeWise classroom lessons with warmth and clarity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to engage students and support school activities.

You will complete substitute training, teach LifeWise classes as needed, implement provided lesson plans, and maintain a safe, organized classroom.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom per LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Take attendance and provide records to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, attractive classroom and know emergency procedures.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and the teacher.
