Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio seeks a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share Bible knowledge and classroom instruction with public school students, building relationships and praying for them.

Two years of teaching experience, a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise, and active local church involvement are required. Completion of the LifeWise Teacher Certification and annual Summit are expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose beliefs align with LifeWise's core values.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain attendance records, rosters, and relevant student information.
• Prepare materials for substitute teachers and manage classroom logistics.
• Build relationships with students, volunteers, and school personnel, praying for students as appropriate.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and maintain communication with program directors and schools.
