Job summary

Select Medical in Mechanicsburg, PA, seeks a Business Intelligence Specialist 2 to independently develop BI solutions that align with business goals. You will work on data analytics, understand source systems, and master the BI toolset while coordinating testing and ensuring high quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple BI projects in a fast-growing organization.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in reporting and analytics.
• 1+ years of experience with enterprise data (SQL and/or data warehouse).
• 1+ years of experience with collaboration platforms (TFS/Jira/Trello).
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop data and analytical solutions to meet business needs
• Collaborate with the BI team and keep projects on time and tracked accurately in TFS
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of the organization’s source systems
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of all of the BI toolset
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of Select business units, their processes, and goals
• Coordinate testing to ensure all BI solutions meet the highest quality standards
• Provide insights, recommendations, and strategies to continuously improve processes and workflow
• Complete special projects and other functions, as required
