Job summary

BioMedical Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst II to provide analytic support across data domains and business needs. You will lead several concurrent projects, apply statistical methods, and help drive procurement, supply chain, and reporting initiatives.

The role requires a Master’s degree and at least 2 years of experience, including healthcare exposure. Strong Excel/SQL/PBI skills, communication, and problem-solving are essential; a collaborative, data-driven environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; minimum 2 years professional experience including healthcare
• Advanced experience analyzing datasets with Excel, SQL, BI tools (Power BI/Qlik) and Python
• Experience planning and executing projects including dashboards, ETL workflows, automation-enabled processes
• Experience supporting vendor/contract analytics in procurement, supply chain, or shared services
• Experience producing contract and vendor performance analyses (price variance, trends, forecasting, SLA, savings, total cost of ownership)
• Hands-on experience in process improvement initiatives (requirements gathering, workflow mapping, data collection)
• Minimum 1 year supporting cross-functional project teams (biomed, engineering, supply chain, hospital stakeholders)
• Minimum 1 year applying statistical methods to business problems (curated datasets for analytics/AI/ML)
• Hands-on experience extracting, validating, improving data integrity across Infor/Lawson, Epic, and Nuvolo for reporting accuracy
• Minimum 1 year supporting procure-to-pay (P2P) initiatives, including automation and controls/auditing

Responsibilities

• Provide analytic support for diverse data domains and business needs
• Lead multiple concurrent projects and guide data strategic initiatives
• Support daily operations while analyzing complex problems using internal/external data
• Identify trends, build forecasts, and prepare strategic/tactical plans
• Create specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs
• Collaborate with clients to tailor analyses and reports
• Present and interpret results in management reviews and recommend actions
