Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise BI solutions supporting healthcare operations, quality, and analytics initiatives.

The role is hybrid in Ft Washington, PA or Allentown, PA and focuses on governance and analytics maturity. Lead complex BI projects, mentor team members, and collaborate across matrixed BI organizations with emphasis on Revenue Cycle analytics, Power BI, and data modeling for standardized reporting and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BI development or data analytics.
• Epic Revenue Cycle Clarity Data Model Certification.
• Revenue Cycle–focused BI experience across healthcare domains.
• HB/PB Clarity certification preferred as a foundation.
• 5+ years SQL and analytics development experience.
• Strong SQL, performance tuning, and complex joins.
• 5–7 years healthcare analytics/reporting preferred.
• Tableau/Qlik to Power BI migration experience.
• Power BI enterprise reporting experience.
• Familiarity with Epic SlicerDicer is a plus.
• Data governance and standardized reporting in healthcare.
• Data warehousing knowledge and Power BI or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Analytics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑level BI solution design and development.
• Serve as domain SME across BI, healthcare data, analytics.
• Demonstrate expertise in SQL, data modeling, BI architecture.
• Support enterprise reporting, standardized reports, ad‑hoc data.
• Collaborate within large matrixed BI organizations.
• Mentor BI team members on best practices and standards.
• Identify gaps and improve governance, workflow, and data quality.
• Support Revenue Cycle analytics projects and reporting.
