Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Sr. Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise BI solutions supporting healthcare operations, quality, and analytics initiatives. The role is hybrid in Ft Washington, PA or Allentown, PA.

You will lead complex BI design, serve as SME across BI, healthcare data, and analytics processes, and mentor team members while driving governance and data quality improvements. Strong SQL, Power BI, and Epic Clarity certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BI development or data analytics.
• Epic Revenue Cycle Clarity Data Model Certification.
• Revenue Cycle-focused BI developer experience across healthcare analytics and reporting.
• HB/PB Clarity certification is a plus.
• 5+ years SQL and analytics development; Epic tenure not required.
• Strong SQL querying, performance tuning, and complex joins.
• 5-7 years healthcare analytics and reporting preferred.
• Experience migrating BI content from Tableau or Qlik to Power BI.
• Power BI dashboard development for enterprise reporting.
• Familiarity with Epic SlicerDicer is a plus.
• Data governance, data quality, and standardized reporting in healthcare.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and Power BI or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise BI solution design and development.
• Act as domain SME across BI, healthcare data, and analytics processes.
• Demonstrate advanced SQL, data modeling, and BI architecture.
• Support enterprise reporting with standardized reports and ad-hoc requests.
• Collaborate within large, matrixed BI organizations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance on BI best practices and standards.
• Identify gaps and improve governance, workflow, and data quality.
• Support Revenue Cycle analytics projects including enterprise reporting.
