Job summary

Meissner Filtration Products, Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist II to design, develop, and manage enterprise BI solutions.

This role mentors junior teammates and owns moderate-to-complex projects, delivering insights through data modeling and optimized reporting across units. You will design enterprise BI dashboards using Microsoft technologies, develop ETL processes, optimize data models, and lead requirements sessions with stakeholders, ensuring data quality and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience developing BI reports, dashboards, and data solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with multiple BI tools.
• Experience with ETL tools and Azure Data Warehouse.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management in English.

Responsibilities

Overview

Design and deliver complex BI solutions that drive business insights across the organization while establishing yourself as a data modeling and optimization expert. Mentor junior team members and demonstrate technical ownership across moderate-to-complex projects.

How you will make an impact

The Business Intelligence Specialist II is responsible for designing, developing, and managing BI solutions. This role requires proficiency in multiple data tools and the ability to work semi-independently on moderate to complex BI projects. The Business Intelligence Specialist II demonstrates subject matter expertise in data modeling, report optimization, and stakeholder management, while also providing mentorship to junior team members.

• Design and develop enterprise-level BI reports and dashboards supporting multiple business units using Microsoft technologies.
• Develop complex ETL processes and manage data warehouse objects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or related field required.
• 4+ years of experience developing BI reports, dashboards, and data solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with multiple BI tools.
• Experience with ETL tools.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Warehouse or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and SQL optimization.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in written and verbal formats in English.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or a similar platform.
• Strong grasp on data visualization concepts and techniques.
• Project management experience and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships.
• Experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
• Demonstrated mentoring capacity.
• Microsoft certifications a Plus:
  • PL-300 (Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst)
  • DP-600 Fabric Analytics Engineer (or equivalent Fabric credential)
• Familiarity with Python.
