Job summary

The University of California, Davis is seeking a Project and Policy Analyst Supervisor to lead BI and portfolio/project management for CPE. Reporting to the Director of the Business Enablement Team, the role combines advanced PPM expertise with BI strategy oversight and supervision of professional staff.

You will manage divisional BI platforms, data governance, and dashboards to support data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a project manager and business analyst, managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements, mapping workflows, and developing operational or business solutions and related policies.
• Experience deploying business intelligence strategy, data governance, and BI platforms and analytics tools.
• Supervisory experience to recruit, mentor, train and coach staff to create a positive and productive work environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrable skill in negotiation, consensus-building, conflict resolution, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, make strategic decisions independently, manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
