Job summary

UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) seeks a Project and Policy Analyst Supervisor to provide analytical leadership for BI and portfolio management. You will supervise a team of project managers and business analysts, guiding cross-divisional initiatives and ensuring standardized PM practices across the division.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making through dashboards and KPIs, with a focus on collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and change management to align BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a project manager and business analyst, managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements, mapping workflows, and developing operational or business solutions and related policies.
• Experience deploying business intelligence strategy, data governance, and BI platforms and analytics tools.
• Supervisory experience to recruit, mentor, train and coach staff to create a positive and productive work environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrable skill in negotiation, consensus-building, conflict resolution, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, make strategic decisions independently, manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
