Job summary

University of California Office of the President is seeking a Program Management Director, Strategy & Continuous Improvement to align organizational strategy with a cohesive portfolio of initiatives and governance across Systemwide Procurement.

The role leads enterprise program management capabilities, delivers executive-level insights, and drives performance through KPI frameworks, reporting, and transformational leadership across the UC system.

Qualifications

• Min 10 years Large-scale program and project management experience in a matrixed organization, including a minimum of 5 years of direct strategic sourcing or procurement process experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with enterprise-wide performance management.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, align organizational priorities with a cohesive portfolio of initiatives and investments.
• Lead establishment and continuous improvement of the program and project management framework, including governance and reporting.
• Strengthen organizational capability through coaching, standards adoption, and KPI development.
• Drive continuous improvement and transformational leadership across UC Systemwide Procurement.
