Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence to lead design and development of advanced Power BI dashboards and drive analysis for Customer Success leadership. You will empower senior stakeholders to make data-driven decisions that influence retention, expansion, and overall performance.

You will manage a small BI team across time zones, provide technical direction, and partner with Data Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Operations to source, clean, and integrate data from CRM and data

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business intelligence and data visualization, preferably in a SaaS.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of SaaS business models and customer success metrics.
• Deep expertise in Power BI is required; other BI and analytics experience is a plus.
• Extensive experience with Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, DAX, Macros, and VBA.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets to support Power BI dashboards.
• Familiarity with Salesforce data model and cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Proven track record of end-to-end analytics initiatives from requirements to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create templates and patterns to accelerate dashboard development.
• Develop visualization tools combining financial, sales, customer activity, and operational metrics.
• Provide documentation and training for end-users to self-serve newly developed tools.
• Lead and mentor BI analysts across time zones; prioritize and guide work.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Operations to deliver insights.
