Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence to lead BI dashboard design and analytics for Customer Office. You will guide a small team, partner with senior stakeholders, and drive insights to retention, expansion, and success strategies across multiple domains.

You will own Power BI dashboards, data engineering projects, and cross-functional analytics while embracing AI and automation to enhance decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business intelligence and data visualization, preferably SaaS.
• Strong business acumen with SaaS metrics and customer success orientation.
• Deep Power BI expertise is required; other BI and analytics skills are a plus.
• Advanced Excel capabilities: PivotTables, Power Query, DAX, Macros, VBA.
• Proficiency in SQL for large datasets; familiarity with Salesforce data model.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience with Jira and Git for project management and version control.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end BI initiatives from requirements to delivery.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders and drive multiple initiatives in parallel.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive BI dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Lead data engineering, data manipulation, and analysis across sources and platforms.
• Advance BI and automation, evaluating new features for performance and depth.
• Mentor BI analysts across time zones and manage a portfolio of analytics requests.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Operations to drive retention and growth.
