Socket.dev in Springfield, Massachusetts is seeking a Bi-Lingual Spanish/English Legal Assistant/Paralegal who can listen to clients’ stories, collect pertinent details, and help move cases toward favorable outcomes with kindness and professionalism. You will greet clients and callers, answer a multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, conduct intakes, and maintain a cloud-based case-management system.

An undergraduate degree is required; legal experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and visitors, both by telephone and in person, in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answering calls on a multi-line phone system.

• Doing phone, Zoom and in-person client intakes (when we resume in-person meetings).
• Maintaining a tracking system in our cloud-based case management system.
• Being detailed and organized.
• Thinking on your feet and not getting discouraged when things don’t go as planned.
• Being willing and able to quickly learn about new laws and procedures.
• Following instructions and understand the importance of policies and procedures.
• Being a team player that consistently acts with respect and integrity.
• Legal experience not required.

Compensation

Compensation package ranges from $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
