Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer II to design and develop scalable analytics for capacity management across its outbound Fulfillment network. You will partner with engineers, product managers and operations to surface capacity trends and insights used in planning and real-time decision systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of analyzing data with Redshift, Oracle or NoSQL.
• 1+ years SQL, ETL or Oracle experience.
• 1+ years processing large multi-source datasets.
• 1+ years statistical analysis experience.
• 1+ years automated reporting experience.
• 3+ years in the job offered or related occupation.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Math/Economics/Statistics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software teams to implement analytics systems for large-scale data analysis.
• Define, develop, and maintain key reports reviewed weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually.
• Analyze historical data to identify trends and present results.
• Identify data needs and drive data quality improvements across sources.
• Understand Amazon's data resources and how to use them.
• Lead data mining and AI-powered automation to speed insights.
• Build scalable data pipelines and ETL for real-time and batch analytics.
• Partner with stakeholders to define metrics, baselines, and measure performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Science teams to define capacity-tracking features and pipelines.
• Conduct deep dives into capacity anomalies and generate insights for leadership.
