Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer II to build data foundations, reporting systems, and analytics capabilities for ML capacity delivery at scale.

You will partner with program managers, systems engineers, and operations teams to transform complex data into actionable insights, create dashboards, and drive decision-making for capacity planning and optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data analysis experience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
• 1+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience
• 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources
• 1+ years of statistical analysis experience
• 1+ years of automated reporting experience
• 3+ years in related job or offering
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight
• Experience in data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with R, SAS and Matlab

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated dashboards and reports for ML capacity delivery.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for ETL from diverse sources using SQL and AWS big data tech.
• Apply analytics to delivery timelines, supply chain logistics, and infra deployment.
• Collaborate with program managers, systems engineers, and operations teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Create visualizations that tell the story of ML capacity delivery performance for stakeholders at all levels.
• Design and track KPIs measuring delivery velocity, on-time performance, and pipeline throughput.
• Serve as liaison between business and technical teams to deliver actionable insights and ad hoc analyses.
• Adopt best practices in reporting, data integrity, testing, validation, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and automate reporting with predictive analytics.
