Job summary

Amazon seeks a Business Intelligence Engineer for its NA Supply Chain Production Planning team. You will own the analytics backbone powering headcount and capacity decisions across a wide network, building pipelines and dashboards that planners rely on weekly.

Responsibilities include designing data pipelines with Python/SQL/AWS services, maintaining a centralized data lake, and delivering actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL experience.
• Knowledge of BI analytics, reporting or visualization tools (Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Cognos, or similar).
• Experience gathering business requirements and using BI tools to extract data, metrics and reports.
• Knowledge of improving code quality and optimizing BI processes (speed, cost, reliability).
• Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.

Responsibilities

• Own dashboards and automated reports surfacing production planning metrics for NASC network stakeholders.
• Collaborate with NASC Operations, Workforce Staffing, Network Design and Planning, and Regional Planning to translate questions into analytics.
• Design, build, and deploy data pipelines using Python, SQL, AWS Lambda, Athena, and Redshift; monitor health.
• Build and maintain curated datasets serving as the single source of truth for capacity planning.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual data processing and enable self-service.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, business logic, and dataset schemas.
