Job summary

Solarity is seeking a BI Engineer to build reporting solutions, ETL processes, and data structures that mature analytics capabilities. You will participate in agile sessions, document solutions, and mentor teammates while aligning with Solarity’s policies and processes.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years BI experience or equivalent education, solid SQL/DB design knowledge, and familiarity with Dundas BI. This role involves collaborating with Service Desk on production issues and contributing to

Qualifications

• 2+ years BI experience or related associate/bachelor degree and relevant work.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Understanding of database design and development.
• Experience with data warehousing techniques preferred.
• Familiarity with Dundas BI is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good problem solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop reporting solutions, ETL processes, and database structures.
• Follow department policies, procedures and coding standards.
• Participate in agile development meetings and design sessions.
• Maintain understanding of database and reporting architecture.
• Create and maintain documentation for solutions.
• Contribute in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Mentor and direct team members in assigned tasks.
• Respond to customer requests and issues reported in production.
