Job summary

SBM is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise BI solutions across a diverse data ecosystem in a Sacramento office. You will analyze, integrate, model, and visualize data from Workday, UKG, JDE, and cloud/data warehouse sources to deliver clear dashboards and reports for executives and line-of-business users.

The role requires 10+ years in BI/analytics, strong SQL, and expertise in Microsoft BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, SSAS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field and 10+ years of BI/analytics experience.
• Advanced SQL expertise with complex queries and performance tuning.
• Experience delivering enterprise BI solutions across multiple data sources.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise BI dashboards and reports across HRIS, ERP, financial and operational systems.
• Translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions and intuitive visualizations.
• Deliver dashboards for executive, operational, and analytical audiences with standardized KPIs.
• Collaborate with data engineering to ensure reliable datasets and data quality.
• Mentor junior BI engineers and analysts.
