Early Warning is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize BI solutions across multiple technology stacks. You’ll translate metrics into actionable insights, develop datamarts, and assemble comprehensive dashboards with Tableau to support planning, trends, and performance across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of progressive work experience in PySpark/Python/Spark/Scala in a Linux environment for Data Engineering development.
• Understanding of Tableau Server and Tableau Dashboard.
• Demonstrated ability with testing, problem solving and analysis.
• Knowledge of dashboard development, data modeling, ETL and systems design principles.
• Experience with SQL Spark.
• Software/data engineering in Python.
• ML toolkits in Python/R.
• Building reusable data ingestion/storage frameworks in Hadoop or AWS/S3.
• Experience with relational databases and query optimization.
• Collaboration with internal teams on enterprise data infrastructure.

Responsabilités

• Define requirements for reports and dashboards with business users and identify data gaps.
• Design and develop backend data sources using Cloudera stack.
• Create complex Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and reports to support business processes.
• Perform in-depth data analysis and cause/effect analyses.
• Design ETL and data manipulations for production and ad-hoc analysis.
• Guide data platforms, tools, and processes with best-practice insights.
• Provide standards and training for BI tools and systems.
• Write data infrastructure and analytics tooling for Data Science.
• Mentor interns and support Data Scientists on software engineering practices.
• Collaborate with analytics leadership on architectural enhancements to the Data Science platform.
