Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a delivery-focused PMO professional in the UK to support end-to-end BI and data initiatives. You will maintain delivery plans, trackers, and status updates while escalating risks and ensuring timely execution across cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong planning, prioritisation and capacity management capabilities, experience with Agile/hybrid delivery, and proven ability to coordinate BI Administrators and other stakeholders to deliver reliable day-to-day service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting end-to-end delivery of data, BI, or digital initiatives to scope, time and quality.
• Experience operating in a delivery, operations, or programme role within a complex organisation.
• Proven experience in PMO or delivery management with agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong capability in planning, prioritisation, and capacity management.
• Experience designing or operating delivery frameworks (Agile, hybrid, or structured).
• Experience ensuring operational stability, including incidents, risks, and service continuity.
• Experience leading or coordinating operational teams such as BI Administrators to deliver reliable day-to-day service.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Supports delivery activities by maintaining plans, trackers, and status updates.
• Ensures tasks progress in line with plans and highlights slippage or risks promptly.
• Works with BI managers and delivery leads to support timely execution of agreed work.
• Maintains delivery governance by applying frameworks and keeping artefacts up to date.
• Plans, prioritises and provides capacity inputs for BI leadership planning discussions.
• Communicates progress and issues clearly using templates and agreed formats.
• Leads or supports BI Administrators to enable high-quality operational delivery.
