Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Delivery Manager/PMO professional to coordinate end-to-end BI and data initiatives. You will maintain delivery plans, monitor progress against milestones, and escalate risks to BI leadership.

The role involves governance, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement of delivery mechanisms within a complex organisation. Key responsibilities include planning, prioritisation, capacity management, and ensuring service continuity while maintaining clear stakeholder

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting end-to-end delivery of data, BI, or digital initiatives.
• Experience operating in a delivery, operations, or programme role within a complex organisation.
• Experience working in a PMO or delivery management function with agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong planning, prioritisation, and capacity management with resource trade-offs.
• Experience designing or operating delivery frameworks (Agile, hybrid, structured).
• Proven ability to ensure operational stability including incidents, risks, dependencies, and service continuity.
• Experience leading or coordinating operational teams to deliver day-to-day service.
• Strong stakeholder communication to provide clear delivery updates and manage expectations.
• Ability to identify delivery inefficiencies and drive improvements in processes and tooling.
• Experience using delivery/workflow tools to support planning and transparency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain delivery plans, trackers, and status updates.
• Highlight slippage or risks and escalate to BI leadership.
• Support timely execution of agreed work across BI teams.
• Log incidents, risks, and ensure escalation processes are followed.
• Maintain delivery governance artifacts and cross-team alignment.
• Support capacity planning and provide inputs to planning discussions.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery mechanisms and reduce overhead.
