Job summary

AllSTEM Connections, Inc. in Livermore, CA is seeking an experienced BGA Rework Technician. You will own the BGA rework station, perform board-level repair and reballing under a microscope, and ensure high-quality workmanship in a non-production environment.

You will calibrate and maintain equipment, document results, and train other technicians, contributing to a collaborative team focused on craftsmanship, accuracy, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Perform board-level repair on electronic assemblies, including SMT and through-hole component removal and replacement under a microscope.
• Complete BGA removal, site preparation, reballing, replacement, and inspection using approved processes and thermal profiles.
• Repair pads, traces, connectors, sockets, and jumper wires while maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Maintain, calibrate, and prepare BGA rework equipment to ensure consistent performance and readiness.
• Inspect, clean, document, and prepare repaired boards for retest with clear records of findings, parts replaced, and results.
• Train other technicians on BGA rework methods and assist with cables, harnesses, and fixtures as needed.
