Job summary

Flex is seeking an Engineering Tech (BGA) to perform complex engineering tests, troubleshoot, analyze data, and validate products. You will support BGA rework, operate equipment, and help drive process improvements in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years related experience.
• Experience with electronics, assemblies, and board-level troubleshooting in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Knowledge of BGA rework processes and related production activities.
• Ability to analyze results and implement effective solutions using independent judgment.
• Strong written communication for reports and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex engineering tests and development activities for products, systems, and components.
• Analyze test results, collect data, and implement changes to resolve issues.
• Review instructions, blueprints, specs to determine testing requirements and solutions.
• Set up operational testing of units to support development and quality control.
• Support BGA rework activities including component removal and replacement.
• Record procedures, results, and recommendations for improvements.
