Job summary

Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in the United States seeks a Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily tasks of bartenders, cocktail servers and barbacks, and to assist the Beverage Manager with hiring, training and staff motivation.

You will manage labor, control cash and inventory, ensure compliance with SOPs, participate in scheduling, perform periodic inventories, and uphold quality of beverage service across all outlets.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age (minimum age requirement).
• Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills required.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience or equivalent.
• 1-year bartending and/or serving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Manage labor hours, cash control, and inventory.
• Promote a positive work environment and team building.
• Support and enable staff to provide for all guests’ needs and requests.
• Assist with employee reviews and evaluations.
• Assist in scheduling Bartenders, Cocktail Servers, and Barbacks, while meeting payroll cost.
• Track employee hours using Attendance Enterprise.
• Handle cut-offs and slow-downs with Security per alcohol SOPs.
• Bartend and/or serve beverages when necessary.
• Attend required training, including TIPS Certification.
• Ensure all health, internal controls, and government rules are followed.
• Track all critical areas of beverage service.
• Document activities, equipment problems, alcohol violations, and employee concerns daily.
• Conduct periodic inventories, rotation, par levels, and discontinue items.
• Work with vendors to ensure proper delivery of orders.
