Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years in restaurant and bar management.
• 5+ years in multi-venue management.
• Strong knowledge of federal and local alcohol laws.
• Strategic thinker with initiative and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Staff properly to forecasted volume and budget targets.
• Order liquor, wine, and beer for the property.
• Monitor inventories and report discrepancies.
• Conduct beverage end-of-period inventory and report
• Meet labor and expense budget objectives.
• Enforce departmental policies and standards.
• Train new hires with classroom and floor programs.
• Ensure ongoing training and policy communication.
• Coordinate recruiting and selection within Beverage.
• Communicate with other departments and leaders.
• Set short- and long-term performance and profit goals.
• Maintain accurate departmental records and security.
• Promote Rivers Casino Portsmouth positively.
