Job summary

Chicken Ranch Casino in Jamestown, CA is seeking a Beverage Server Lead to join the Food and Beverage team. As a CRCR Ambassador, you will provide exceptional drink service, promote the beverage menu, take orders on tablets, and ensure accuracy and cleanliness during daily operations and events.

The role requires at least 1 year in a high-volume beverage setting, 21+ years of age, knowledge of cocktails and POS systems, and a willingness to upsell while maintaining guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 1+ years of work experience in a high-volume beverage setting.
• Have basic math skills.
• Ability to take and process orders using tablets.
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Must have a strong understanding of cocktails, liquors, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Familiarity with training Team Members.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Promote the Players Club loyalty program to Guests.
• Communicate to management any shortages, overages, or areas of concern that require immediate attention.
• Take beverage orders from Guests and, through the tablet, communicate orders properly to the service bar.
• Promptly deliver all beverages to appropriate gaming machines or tables and assigned work areas.
• Manage the assigned sections and tasks in an efficient and proactive manner.
• Monitor and anticipate Guests’ needs, refill beverages, and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including beverage stations, tables, and service areas.
• Upsell and recommend additional beverage items to enhance the Guests’ experience.
• Recognize and acknowledge when Guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated.
• Collaborate with other Team Members to ensure overall Guest satisfaction.
• Anticipate Guests' needs and provide personalized attention throughout their CRCR experience.
• Comply with the Department of Health and business sanitation standards.
