Job summary

Bally’s in Chicago is hiring a server to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will greet guests, recommend menu items, handle POS and payments, and maintain bar safety and sanitation standards.

The position requires 21+ with a gaming license, a high school diploma, and at least 6 months of related experience; open availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have six months or more related experience.
• Must be able to open work availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Foster Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy with a fun and entertaining atmosphere.
• Promote Bally’s guest service culture and build long-lasting guest relations.
• Serve customers as part of a team, anticipate needs, initiate conversation, and provide advice.
• Perform table set-up, side work, and closing duties.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and wine list, including daily specials.
• Check IDs for alcohol service and Bally’s player cards.
• Operate POS and compute customer checks; report tips for each shift.
• Maintain bar safety and sanitation standards.
• Arrive on time in full uniform and participate in pre-shift meetings.
• Keep work area clean and professional at all times.
