Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Jackpot, NV is seeking friendly beverage-service team members to create memorable guest experiences. You will greet guests, take cocktail orders, upsell drinks, and ensure accurate cash handling while maintaining a clean workstation.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with cocktails and prices to ensure proper ordering and expeditions.
• Suggest and upsell cocktails.
• Observe guest needs and fulfill requests.
• Serve tables in order of arrival and follow supervisor instructions.
• Inform supervisor if a critical supply or service issue arises.
• Carry out assigned side work and daily tasks.
• Practice safety rules and encourage others to do the same.
• Conduct oneself with a positive professional image.
• Greet guests with a smile and pleasant disposition.
• Keep workstation clean including ashtrays and caddies.
• Follow all cash handling procedures as per the food & beverage manual.
• Adhere to the calling order when ordering cocktails.

• Responsible for familiarization of cocktails and prices in order to insure proper ordering and expedition of beverage orders.
• Suggest and upsell cocktails.
• Observe and anticipate guest’s needs in order to fill any additional requests or needs.
• Serve tables in proper order of arrival with exceptions in common sense situations or as ordered by your supervisor.
• Inform immediate supervisor if a critical supply or service situation should arise.
• Responsible for side work assigned and any additional assigned daily tasks.
• Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do the same.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image.
• Greet guests with a smile and a pleasant disposition.
