Job summary

PENN Entertainment is hiring in Mississippi and inviting energetic team members to provide personalized beverage service to casino guests. You will greet guests by name, handle payments, monitor alcohol service, and support a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role requires 21+ age, strong English, and excellent customer service. Training is provided; benefits and a performance bonus are part of the total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Read, write legibly, understand and speak English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Count money and make change accurately.
• Able to learn tray service and cocktail ingredients.
• Availability for nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides personalized service and uses guest name; resolves service problems per guidelines.
• Promotes casino events and programs; acts as ambassador in public relations contexts.
• Provides fast, friendly, professional beverage service; handles full trays on rounds.
• Monitors guest alcohol consumption and intervenes as needed per guidelines.
• Takes drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in drink prep and presentation.
• Handles money according to procedure; works well with beverage and slots teams.
• Maintains a clean and stocked workstation.

• Provides personalized service and uses guest name - Resolves service problems according to guidelines - Serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appears in publicity photos - Promotes casino events and programs - Provides fast (20 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests; carries full trays on every round - Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines - Takes drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in the preparation of drinks and presents drinks to guests - Handles money according to procedure - Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor - Maintains clean and stocked workstation
