Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Large Format Sales Representative to drive beverage sales within local accounts in Portland, OR. You will manage inventory, build relationships with customers and cross-functional teams, and execute merchandising programs to meet corporate goals.

The role requires strong communication, time management, and industry knowledge, with local travel and full-time hours. Training and certifications may be required within the first year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sales Fundamentals training/certification required on hire; CSP preferred within 1 year.
• Cicerone Level 1 certification required within 1 year of start date.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory expenses per policy.
• Interact with departments, suppliers and customers.
• Support rotating and merchandising of products.
• Complete required training to improve performance.
• Maintain knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic products, trends, and market share.
• Create opportunities and develop programs for customers.
• Submit required reports and market surveys on time.
• Sell Columbia Distributing portfolio in assigned accounts.
• Maintain retail standards and product displays.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
