Job summary

Columbia Distributing in Washington state is hiring a full-time Sales Associate to support sales, merchandising and distribution goals across assigned accounts. You will help execute business objectives and company initiatives with accuracy and pace.

You will provide route relief for Sales Reps, build strong customer relationships, and stay current on beer and non-alcoholic product trends to maximize market share. This role requires independent work and the ability to travel locally.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required; minimum of 21 years old.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year beverage industry sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell, rotate, and merchandise Columbia Distributing products in assigned accounts.
• Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled.
• Interact respectfully with internal departments, suppliers and customers.
• Maintain knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic beverages, food journals, trends and market share.
• Submit required reports, preplans, trackers, surveys and market surveys on time.
• Manage inventory expenses and adhere to company policy.
• Understand and apply MVP Standards.
• Monitor competitive activity and communicate strategies.
