Job summary

Columbia Distributing in Juneau, AK seeks an enthusiastic Sales Representative to grow beverage sales across assigned accounts through territory planning, merchandising, and proactive account management.

You will build relationships with customers, collaborate with suppliers, and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets while maintaining deep product knowledge and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sales Fundamentals including CSP training and CSP certification required upon hiring; Cicerone level 1 within one year.
• Minimum two years sales experience in beverage industry.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory expenses per policy.
• Interact respectfully with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
• Support rotating and merchandising of product.
• Complete training to improve performance.
• Maintain knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic beverages, food journals and market trends.
• Create opportunities and develop programs for the customer base.
• Submit required reporting, plans, trackers and surveys by due date.
• Sell Columbia Distributing portfolio in assigned accounts.
• Achieve MVP standards in accounts and drive distribution growth.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual business objectives.
