Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of college in business/sales management preferred.
• CSW, CMS, Cicerone or WSET certifications preferred.
• 2-5 years of wine, beer or beverage sales management experience.
• Strong passion for wine and beer.
• Desire to lead and motivate a team to excellence.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment while staying focused on results.
• Familiar with Apple devices (iPad), Google and Microsoft Office.
• Driven, results-oriented with excellent verbal and written skills.
• Able to work independently and with the team.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead and motivate a team of 5 sales representatives.
• Train and develop new sales representatives.
• Achieve monthly and annual team sales goals as directed by the On Premise Sales Manager and Sales Director.
• Conduct continuing training and education annually with every team member.
• Conduct ride-alongs with sales reps and suppliers to promote Skyland products.
• Establish relationships with key buyers in the assigned territories.
• Conduct 90-day and annual performance evaluations for reps.
• Provide market feedback to sales leadership on openings, competition, pricing, promotions.
• Run weekly team meetings to discuss market opportunities and priorities.
• Assist Trade Development with pricing and promotions information.
• Develop and implement sales programs/incentives within the team.
• Identify future sales candidates for openings.
• Perform administrative duties: tracking goals, distributions, reviews, PTO requests.
• Cover routes for reps on PTO or leave.
