Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive growth across our wine, spirits and beer portfolio. You will manage a defined territory, build strong accounts, and execute promotions, in-store tastings, and shelf merchandising.

Responsibilities include route planning, visiting accounts, presenting products, maintaining inventory, processing payments where permitted, and collaborating with the District Manager to develop openings for new accounts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Wine knowledge and spirits understanding required.
• Strong accounting, computer, customer service and interpersonal skills preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; diplomacy and discretion essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office and presentation software; territory familiarity plus driving.
• Must have valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales objectives and manage territory with merchandising focus.
• Call on accounts and optimize daily routes for efficiency.
• Present professional sales pitches and promote displays, cold boxes, shelves and promotions.
• Maintain inventory awareness; flag stock shortages and demand fluctuations.
• Coordinate with District Manager on opening orders for new accounts and credits/returns when needed.
• Deliver products to customers and handle issues or complaints as needed.
