Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Sales Consultant to visit accounts, engage in consultative selling, and grow revenue. You will build trust-based relationships, analyze client needs, and develop growth plans guided by CRM data and product knowledge.

Role requires strong communication, data analysis, and the ability to travel; you’ll support both customers and suppliers while achieving company objectives in a fast-paced market.

Qualifications

• Able to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals.
• Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad®, smartphone) and online communication techniques in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust.
• Discover and identify customer business growth needs.
• Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline of selling opportunities to drive incremental sales above base business.
• Analyze data and insights to increase sales, grow customer business, and better achieve objectives.
• Regularly and consistently pre-plan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities documented in CRM.
• Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer growth plan.
• Visit accounts regularly, capture visit notes, and build visit plans with CRM documentation.
• Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and position them effectively.
• Propose selling solutions to each customer and win the sale using consultative selling skills.
• Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management.
• Manage customer issue resolution and support business growth with useful information and guidance.
