Job summary

Imperial Beverage is seeking an Account Manager in Training in Michigan. You will drive your own vehicle to assigned stores, merchandise products, and learn our sales process through hands-on shadowing with the Sales Manager and Account Managers.

This full-time role starts with training and route experience to prepare for an account leadership position. The position emphasizes relationship-building, market knowledge, and active participation in community events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Sales and beverage industry experience preferred.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Must live in assigned market.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Flexibility to work varying hours to accommodate customer needs and special events.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with various types of people.
• Desire to stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge.
• Ability to attain a Michigan Liquor Control Commission license.
• Ability to lift/carry an average of 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Review deliveries on your iPad and stock shelves and coolers after deliveries.
• Merchandise product and train on our sales process at stores in the local area.
• Cover sales routes, create a sales plan for each account, and place orders as needed.
• Sample and learn about products with suppliers.
• Volunteer at local festivals and assist with store resets.
• Work on special projects and participate in ongoing training.
