Job summary

Silver Eagle Beverages in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Entry level Route Sales Driver to support beer distribution. You will pull routes, merchandize products, and ensure shelves stay stocked according to policy.

Responsibilities include inventory checks, closing sales on displays and new products, and maintaining strong customer relations. A valid Texas driver's license is required; CDL will be needed in the future. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Two years of beverage Direct Store Delivery experience.
• Experience with mobility/M360.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid Texas Driver’s license; willing to obtain Class A CDL.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs repeatedly; mechanically inclined.
• Must work with alcohol and comply with TABC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Use sales tools to take inventory and recommend product needs.
• Close sales by positioning displays, new products, packages, draught placements, shelf facings, POS, and pricing.
• Enforce supplier contracts and corporate merchandising standards.
• Restock to prevent out-of-stock and optimize shelf space.
• Communicate with Sales team to close deals and build customer relations.
• Notify Area Sales Manager of changes in retail trade (licenses, routes, competition).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
