Job summary

Summit-Beverage is seeking a Relief Sales Representative to support the sales team by selling products and meeting customer needs on the assigned route. You will service retail accounts, maintain schedules, and handle merchandising to optimize display and placement across MT accounts.

The role involves inventory management, AR collections, accurate route documentation, and delivering compelling presentations to close sales while aiming to meet or exceed distribution goals.

Qualifications

• 3-5 direct sales experience preferable in a beer and/or wine sales environment or related industry.
• 5+ years of industry-specific experience in a beer and/or wine sales environment or related field.

Responsibilities

• Pre-plan sales objectives and run route efficiently; call on accounts per established frequency.
• Inspect pricing, stock rotation, and merchandising; perform merchandising duties as required.
• Maintain inventory levels and manage call-ins; handle account receivable collections.
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations and close sales calls.
• Document route books and re-cap forms; maintain customer logs for profiling needs.
• Meet or exceed sales volume, profitability, and distribution goals; perform ad feature resets.
