Job summary

Summit Beverage is seeking a Relief Sales Representative to cover routes when teammates are out and to merchandise key accounts across Montana. You will learn every route, work with customers in retail, bars and restaurants, and build the experience to grow into your own route.

Responsibilities include calling on accounts on schedule, presenting products, taking orders, and closing sales to hit distribution goals.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Montana driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Sales experience in beer, wine or beverages preferred; bachelor’s degree is a plus, or equivalent experience.
• Merchandising experience in grocery/retail is a plus.
• Ability to lift 35–55 lbs routinely (up to 75 lbs occasionally) and stand/bend/kneel all day.
• Must be 21+ (alcohol beverage sales).

Responsibilities

• Cover sales routes when teammates are out and merchandise accounts.
• Present products, take orders and close sales to meet volume goals.
• Manage inventory, collect payments and keep route records accurate.
• Build displays, run ad features and perform resets to beat competition.
• Maintain professional, timely communication with customers.
