Responsibilities

• Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and new business.
• Prepares sales contracts and interfaces with customers on location or by phone.
• Leads contract negotiations, closes sales, and develops marketing plans for accounts.
• Maintains safe/competent operation of route vehicle and performs upkeep.
• Coordinates and leads sales meetings; ensures products are rotated on a first-in, first-out basis.
• Establishes good customer rapport and accounts for cash/credit proceeds and assets.
• Solicits new business using samples and marketing resources; highlights product features and benefits.
• Arranges products per plan; places signs and displays; transfers product from stock to floor displays.
• Orders product for accounts; plans displays; coordinates delivery dates and pickups.
• Prepares business transaction reports and tracks expenses; adheres to safety equipment policies.
