Job summary

Battle House Hotel and Spa in Mobile, AL is seeking a Beverage Purchaser to efficiently manage procurement and inventory of liquor, beer, wine, and set-ups for our hospitality team, receiving deliveries, checking invoices, and maintaining stock levels.

You will rotate stock, prepare weekly beverage orders, support Event Operations requisitions, manage beer draft systems, use Excel for inventories, and ensure compliance with Marriott Gold Standard/Renaissance Signature Series.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience in hospitality inventory control or beverage purchasing is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive beverage deliveries and verify invoices against goods received.
• Maintain stock levels (par levels) of beer, liquor, and wine across storerooms and outlets.
• Fill outlet requisitions following bottle-for-bottle standards and rotate stock to minimize waste.
• Prepare weekly beverage orders and coordinate Event Operations requisitions.
• Maintain cleanliness of beverage storeroom and coolers; ensure security of assets.
• Schedule regular beer draft system maintenance and line cleaning with vendors.
