Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the safe maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment, ensuring maximum production quality.

You will supervise mechanics, enforce HACCP and GMPs, and drive continuous improvement by analyzing downtime data with the Production Manager. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in beverage manufacturing, strong PLC and schematics skills, and a proven track record in Lean methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 7–10 years of experience in related beverage industry preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and various reporting software.
• Ability to read schematics.
• PLC experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and training.
• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Solid business acumen, management, analytical, and problem-thinking skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass the drug test and physical exam.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible Full Time schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to provide own transportation to various locations in organizational service areas, as required by duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and cross-train mechanics in all areas of the operation.
• Practice safe work habits and enforce lock-out tag-out procedures and OSHA training as required.
• Responds to repair calls from line supervisors or operators as needed.
• Perform package change-overs on equipment as required.
• Schedule preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
• Participate in daily meetings and report maintenance objectives and opportunities.
• Analyze downtime data with Production Manager to prevent recurring issues.
• Enforce HACCP and GMPs to deliver quality products.
• Study, evaluate, and redesign processes to improve quality.
• Develop and schedule preventive maintenance and organize change-overs.
• Direct and enforce the safety program for maintenance.
• Pursue ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ensure fair, equitable, and respectful treatment of all employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.
