Job summary

Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT is seeking a Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily beverage department operations and VIP lounges. You will train, schedule and evaluate staff, maintain lounge presentation and sanitation, and control access to guest areas while ensuring adherence to liquor laws and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Two years of experience as Beverage Server, Bartender or Butler in a high-volume casino environment.
Excellent knowledge of state liquor laws including identification procedures and refusal of service.
Strong communication and leadership skills to train and schedule beverage staff.

Responsibilities

Assists in training, evaluating and scheduling beverage staff.
Maintains lounges appearance, sanitation, presentation and supplies.
Controls access to lounges and guest amenities in absence of upper management.
Monitors intoxication levels and applies refusal of service as needed.
Maintains par levels of china, glass, silver, and other supplies.
Collaborates with Stewarding, EVS and Engineering on health, safety and maintenance.
Coaches line employees to enhance skills and supports hiring decisions.
