Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 3 years of in food and beverage management in a supervisory capacity for a high-volume beverage operation preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in overall cocktail, beverage & lounge/bar operations.
• Complete knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Extensive cocktail program knowledge and current culinary trends.
• Ability to manage staffing to maximize efficiency and minimize labor costs.
• Strong overall knowledge of drink menu preparation and presentation.
• Proficiency in financial accountability and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Always provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests and anticipating needs.
• Oversee service concepts, ambiance, menu design, and features aligned with the venue vision.
• Assist in overseeing beverage par levels and ordering.
• Manage Health & Safety requirements of the business per standards.
• Monitor drink preparation, presentation, and guest interactions; train staff for excellence.
• Respond quickly to guests, resolve questions and complaints effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of the resort and proactively assist guests.
• Manage finances to meet budget while maintaining quality.
• Demonstrate departmental knowledge and efficiency.
• Lead FOH staff, ensure safety procedures, and maintain standards.
• Conduct orientation, line-ups, and training.
• Ensure staff understand menus, including wine offerings.
• Forecast staffing and prepare rosters.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
