Job summary

Capital Distributing in Austin, TX is hiring a full-time merchandiser to stock, rotate and display products at grocery stores and beverage outlets along assigned routes. The shift begins early at 5:00 am with weekend availability required.

You will travel locally, use company systems for routing and account monitoring, and document execution with photos while maintaining backstock and inventory levels. Comprehensive benefits are provided including medical, dental, vision, PTO and 401k.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old or minimum state legal age
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Able to lift, push & pull 25–50 lbs regularly
• 0–6 months plus of general work experience

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, maintain, display and rotate products on assigned routes
• Transport products between backroom and display floor using pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company systems for routing, compliance, and account monitoring
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload photos documenting in-store execution
• Maintain backstock areas to support inventory levels and product freshness
• Other duties as assigned

Shift: Full-time, 5:00 am – 6:00 am start time, weekend availability required

Position Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring
• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.
• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience
